These great cartoons are created by Jerry King, an award-winning cartoonist who’s one of the most published, prolific and versatile cartoonists in the world today.
While others tend to flip through them I marvel at them wondering how genius or ridiculous some are. Windows Phone 7 has a new Campaign out based around the idea of how the phone stops life. (which for my generation may be true). Check it out subtle comedy at its finest.
I have always been a huge fan of Guerrilla Art. It is my favorite form of Advertising just due to is unexpectedness from the consumer. Here is a direct approach to stop speeding created by the Elm Grove Police. Let me know what you think.

Trying to create a logo for myself. Here are 2 that I have created thus far. More to come in due time. Hopefully I will have one set in stone in the next week.
I was asked by The Fellaz to create a t-shirt design for the Crab and Splash Festival which was held August 14, 2010. I was more than excited and this was my first real attempt at a t-shirt design. I must admit this was one of the funniest things I have ever done. It was a lot of trials and errors to get it ready for press but it was a learning experience and to see the t-shirt on so many people was definitely worth it! I hope you enjoy.
In advertising we stumble through many commercials...Some great some ok and some where we just turn the channel because we don't even have a clue what they are trying to sell. The other day I stumbled across this commercial for Toyota called "Swagger Wagon." I think it's clever but at the same time it plays on that dreaded "My mom/dad is trying to be cool" feeling. All in all Toyota is clearly trying to do something to bring themselves back to the attention of the consumer. (Can you blame them?) During a time when the the economy is still fighting its way back to normal, you can always win people over with a good laugh.
So I stopped at a McDonald'sa few days ago and decided to order a Happy Meal. (Yes, I am an adult ordering a Happy Meal.) Once I got my meal a sense of nostalgia came over me. I found myself in curiousity of which toy I had received and then me searching for a pen to do the games that usually wrap the outside of the box. So with pen in hand I was ready and then i noticed it... in disbelief of what I was being asked to do by such a monumental staple of my youth and in society...the Happy Meal instead of asking me to find Ronald or finish the sentence it had asked me to "Play On-line." I am very aware of how technology is forever changing and is a huge part of society but does all areas need to conform? McDonald's usually prides themself on a classic burger never changed never altered... you know... 2 all beef paties, special sauce, lettuce, cheese, pickles, onions on a sesame seed bun...so why not the same for the Happy Meal?
While in school you always seem to find where you fit in. It could be based on sports, personalities, ethnicity, or just location. I had the honor of creating a logo for an organization called "Charm City Aggies." It based on the location of students from Baltimore, Maryland.
Here are a few ides I came up with:
After a view revisions and a talk with the client we came up with the new logo for Charm City Aggies.
While in graduate school i came to have a new found love for Typography. Every where I go I compare it to each other and I try to use it and execute it as best as I can in my projects. Recently, I designed some invites to a friends baby shower and decided to use only type for the picture.
